2025-2026 Season

Classes begin the week of September 14th!

2026-2027 season schedule

The following schedule is tentative and subject to change, depending on enrollment.

*New this season: 3rd/4th Grade ballet, tap, and jazz have been broken up into separate styles to better cover each style.
*We’ve added an hour and a half Additional Ballet Class for 8th-12th Grade that will follow a FULL typical ballet class format each week to support proper technique application.

Preschool, Kindergarten, 1st & 2nd grade classes are each an hour long combo class where young dancers are taught the basics of dance movement in the two most foundational styles: ballet and tap. (taught by Ms. Kasie)

The 3rd & 4th Grade Ballet, Tap, and Jazz classes, will focus on the foundations and techniques of each style.

5th-6th, 7th-9th, & 10th-12th Ballet continues to delve into the technical aspects of ballet, and works on engraining good technique, which is essential to ensure safety and success in not just ballet, but all other styles!

5th-7th & 8th-12th Tap, dedicates more time to this intricate style, which will really help dancers progress in their tap skills and coordination! (taught by Ms. Kasie)

5th-6th, 7th-9th, & 10th-12th Jazz will cover a wide variety of jazz concepts and tricks, from isolations and progressions to leaps and turns.

Beginner Pointé (by invitation only. Dancers taking Beginner Pointé must also be taking a ballet class with Legacy Studio of Dance to reinforce ballet technique and ensure dancer’s safety) In this class, dancers will learn how to stretch, strengthen and properly use the muscles required to safely dance in Pointé shoes, how to properly care for and prepare their shoes, and how to properly execute beginner level Pointé skills. As beginning pointé training too early, before the dancer’s body and technical understanding of ballet is developed enough can cause injury, it is very important that dancers do not try pointé work until directed to do so by their teacher.

Pointé 2 is extension of ballet, where dancers are trained to dance in toe shoes, or pointé shoes. Because beginning pointé training too early, before the dancer’s body and technical understanding of ballet is developed enough can cause injury, it is very important that dancers do not try pointé work until directed to do so by their teacher. Pointé is by invitation only. Dancers who have completed 1 year of beginner pointé may take Pointé 2. Dancers taking pointé must also be taking a Ballet class with Legacy Studio of Dance to reinforce ballet technique and ensure dancer’s safety. (taught by Ms. Kasie)

Dancers should wear comfortable, non-distracting clothing that covers the knees (such as tights, leggings, or sweatpants that do not touch the floor). Girls should have hair pulled into a pony or similar style. No down hair permitted. (taught by Mr. Demetri)
